Meet the creator of (Conan, The Boy in Future) A.K.A Adnan wa Leena

Meet Hayao Miyazaki is one of the best known directors of Japanese animation. We know him for his creation Conan, the Future Boy or as we know it as Adnan wa Leena. Some of his last films are: "Spirited Away", awarded an Oscar to the Best Animation Feature Film of 2003, and "Howl's Moving Castle".

I am such a fan of this guy, he is soo creative. i dont think anyone can be compared to his creativity.

Although largely unknown in the West outside of animation communities until Miramax released his film Princess of Mononoke in 1999, his films have enjoyed both commercial and critical success in Japan and East Asia.

Spirited Away
Miyazaki's Spirited Away is the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan; Princess Mononoke held the same title for a short period until the release of Titanic later in the same year.

Hi there,
Just thought you mind find this interesting. I've been to the Ghibli Studio (Miyazaki's Studio) last year here in Tokyo. I took some photos there. Check out this link: http://japan-hasan.spaces.live.com/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c11_PhotoAlbum_spaHandler=TWljcm9zb2Z0LlNwYWNlcy5XZWIuUGFydHMuUGhvdG9BbGJ1bS5GdWxsTW9kZUNvbnRyb2xsZXI%24&_c11_PhotoAlbum_spaFolderID=cns!1EE9B4BEB136B3C5!1592&_c=PhotoAlbum

well.. not the actual studio - it was the museum. certainly worth a visit if you ever come to this neck of the woods.

Oh, and by the way, Miyazaki's son made a feature film last year that was a big hit in Japan - don't know if you saw it or not: Tales from EarthSea.

I have watched almost all of his movies, trust me its worth it[the guy is a Genius). Spirited Away is basically the climax of his career in animation ; he is combining all his Previous ideas and imagination into one single movie.
But I don’t think all the titles are available in Bahrain, you have to order them

Hasan, it must have been quite an experience!!!

Shahrayr, Spirited away was excellent!!

we all have fond memories of watching that show growing up as kids.

like you, i believe Myazaki is unlike any other storyteller that ever lived. his stories are full of hope, dreams and innocence in the face of unimaginable horrors.

my favoirte work of his must be Princess Mononoke, because in addition to being one of his masterpieces, its English script was written by my hero author Neil Gaiman.

I'm glad to find other Myazaki fans in Bahrain:D
