We have been hearing this all our life's, “Money Does NOT bring happiness” and we believed it because it sounded good for us, because we are poor and hearing that’s saying gives us some comfort.
Now according to studies, it seems Money DOES bring happiness. The following was published in the economist
Gallup's pollsters asked a standard question: how satisfied are you with your life, on a scale of nought to ten? In all the rich places (America, Europe, Japan, Saudi Arabia), most people say they are happy. In all the poor ones (mainly in Africa), people say they are not. As Angus Deaton of Princeton University puts it, a map of the results looks like an income plot of the world (see map). There are some exceptions: Georgia and Armenia, though not among the world's poorest states, are among the 20 most miserable. Costa Rica and Venezuela, though middle-income countries, are among the 20 happiest. The Brazilians, pictured above, seem a bit more cheerful than their income level justifies.
But in general, declared levels of happiness are correlated with wealth. The pattern also seems to hold true within countries, as well as between them. Rich Americans are happier than poor ones; rich Brazilians happier than poorer ones

I wanted to see an additional dimension to the study; "the level of corruption in a country". Or we can look it from a different angel, distribution of wealth in a country.
Take Bahrain for example, we are a rich country (even if it’s not shown) but given the level of corruption I feel most people are unhappy.

money doesnt necessarily bring happiness; but it sure makes a poor man happy
I am not quite convinced that a rich country does bring hapiness to its citizens. From the map we can also see that, in most cases, countries that were liberal and democratic there seem to be a higher level of hapiness in comparison with countries torn with political and economic corruption.
Saudi Arabia being a happy country, I think, raises some questions about our general perception about that nation, especially as the distribution of income is probably one of the worst in the world.
Having said all that, Imam Ali (as) has a beautiful saying, about money and possessions:
"Grieve not if the pleasures of this world are kept away from you. Honey, the best and sweetest food, is the saliva of an insect, the bee. The nicest dress is made of silk which is the refuse of a small worm. The most refreshing scent, musk, is the blood of an animal, the deer. The best drink is water which is also used by animals to quench their thirst. The most passionate act is cohabiting in which urinative organs are used." Imam Ali(as)
So how, one must ask, does money bring happiness?
money is make the life easy for you ,travel enytime you want .change your car every month, etc .but actually doesn't bring hapiness inside the person.we can find most of the people who are rich they spend all of their time thinking about the way to increase their profit ,but they forget their helth their family .
Fair and Honest,Briefly, Money do give people satisfaction hence make them happy to a certain extend Only
But is it the real way for a person to be happy? Nope it isnt Money can't buy Love, Health or Time.
The Real Happiness in my opinion is when we have a closer relationship with God,it is by then no matter wut we go through in life we always do have faith n positive thinking!
